We have the best guitar teachers who guide you through each step of your learning, helping you to learn guitar step by step and build your skills, confidence, and passion for playing, along with the best guitar tricks. We provide the best guitar lessons that are designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner, we offer guitar lessons for beginners, an intermediate player looking to improve, or an advanced guitarist aiming to refine your technique, we provide private guitar lessons just for you. From mastering chords and strumming techniques to learning advanced solos and fingerpicking, our guitar instructor guides you every step of the way.

By the Month

Reserves a total of 4 thirty-minute lessons per month, scheduled once a week on the same day and time with an associate coach. Vocal evaluation required. (Does not apply to Mama Jan’s schedule)

Booked individually by the hour. Vocal evaluation required.

Intermediate players will expand their technique with scales and timing, while advanced players can focus on complex solos, fingerpicking, improvisation, and more.

The time it takes to get good at the guitar varies for each person. Some beginners start seeing progress within a few weeks, while others may take a little longer. Consistent practice and dedication are key to improving your skills.

Yes! We offer guitar music lessons for students who prefer to learn guitar online from home. Our virtual classes are as practical as in-person lessons, but depend on the individual’s unique experience, coaching needs, and availability.

Absolutely! We can help you learn specific songs, whether it’s your favorite pop hit, a classic rock anthem, or a blues solo. We also teach various genres, including rock, blues, jazz, classical, and more.

We do not reschedule or offer make-up lessons. If you cannot attend your lesson for any reason, payment is still expected in full. All of Jan Smith Studios’ instructors are paid for their time and expertise; thus, no refunds for lessons clients miss.

Yes! We provide instructional materials such as chord charts, sheet music, and practice exercises to reinforce what you learn in your lessons. We also give you tips and techniques for practicing on your own.
