How does it work?
Do you wish to master logic pro and produce professional-level music? At Jan Smith Studios, we’re here to guide you through the entire process, from recording your first track to creating a polished final product. We provide expert logic pro classes to help you promote your music production to the next level.
We offer logic pro lessons for all skill levels, whether you are a beginner exploring the basics or an advanced producer looking to refine your techniques. We will teach you to use logic pro’s powerful features to create, edit, and mix music. For beginners, we start with the basics, like getting to know the software, recording sounds and MIDI, using loops, and learning simple editing and mixing. As you improve, we move on to more advanced topics, such as working with MIDI, designing your sounds, and using automation to make your music more dynamic. For advanced students, we cover mixing techniques, mastering your tracks, and working with external equipment. By the end of the Logic Pro training, you can produce, edit, and mix music like a pro.

Reserves a total of 4 thirty-minute lessons per month, scheduled once a week on the same day and time with an associate coach. Vocal evaluation required. (Does not apply to Mama Jan’s schedule)

What will I learn in Logic Pro lessons?
You’ll learn everything from the basics to advanced techniques in our lessons. Beginners will start with recording audio, MIDI, and basic mixing, while intermediate learners will dive into sound design, advanced MIDI, and virtual instruments.
How long does it take to get good at Logic Pro?
The time it takes to master Logic Pro depends on your current skills and how much you practice. Some students see progress in just a few weeks, while others may take longer. With consistent practice and the guidance of our instructors, you’ll steadily improve your skills.
Can you help me learn specific genres or styles?
Absolutely! Whether you’re into pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic music, or film scoring, our instructors can help you create music in any style. We’ll teach you how to use Logic Pro’s tools to achieve the sound you’re looking for.
What if I miss a lesson?
If you miss your lesson, payment is still expected in full. We do not reschedule or offer make-up lessons. Our instructors are compensated for their time and expertise; no refunds are provided for missed classes.
Do you provide any learning materials?
Yes! We provide instructional materials such as step-by-step guides, practice exercises, and resources to reinforce what you learn in class. You’ll also receive tips and techniques to continue improving on your own.
Do you offer Logic Pro classes online?
Yes! We offer Logic Pro online courses for students who prefer to learn from home, but that depends on the individual’s unique experience, coaching needs, and availability.
